Project: The Danes and the tunnels of Sighisoara (Romania)
Tunnels for the new Pan-European railroad line, linking several regions of Central Europe to Turkey. The project is located on the Atel-Micasasa section. The work consists of two tunnels of 120m2 gross section and two mine sections of 910ml and 325ml, as well as two artificial tunnel segments totalling 76ml. The excavated material consists of highly cohesive, compact clays and silts.
